Converge 1.1 (2009/09/08)

This is the second alpha release of Converge. Why is a 1.* release declared as alpha? See the roadmap.

You can either download a pre-built binary for your platform (recommended if it exists) or build from source.

Pre-built binaries

Pre-built binaries are available for:

Platform Variant

Linux 2.6 kernel, x86 platform Download
Mac OS X / Darwin x86 (Intel) processors only Download
OpenBSD amd64 Download
i386 Download
Windows Win32 Download

Submissions of pre-built binaries for platforms not listed above are welcome.

Note that while pre-built binaries come with example code, they do not include the source code of the Converge compiler and related tools, as the pre-built binaries do not need these to function. The full source code of all components can be found in the source distribution.

Source download

If your platform does not have a pre-built binary you can download the source distribution and build Converge manually. It is likely to work on most little endian 32 bit and 64 bit UNIX operating systems with little or no effort. Other platforms may require varying amounts of work. Reports of success on new platforms are always appreciated.
